Anticipation is in the air for the upcoming July 14th Fête Nationale!  There will be a military parade on the avenue des Champs-Elysées in the morning and fireworks at the Eiffel Tower at night.  And entry into the Louvre museum will be free on that day!

Our Restaurant of the Month

Last month we dined at Le Resto, a restaurant that has been our favorite for many years now, even though it has gone through three changes of ownership.  Follow this link and sign in at the landing page to read our review:  http://www.parisinsights.com/restaurants.php.

Paris Fun Fact

The Rat Ball of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church

Underneath a hideous gargoyle on the left side of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church is a sculpture depicting rats weaving their way in and out of a globe.  Does it represent the decrepit state of the world?
