Art and Food Pairings™ - Some Favorites

I began the ETBP Art and Food Pairing™ series almost ten years ago, in February 2011.   I write these articles after exploring museums and galleries that display African or black Diaspora works, and then dining at a nearby African or Afro-Caribbean restaurant.

Because I'm now teaching culinary high school students at Marion P. Thomas Charter School (MPTCS) in Newark, NJ about creating and maintaining a food blog, I decided to revisit this article series and pull out some examples to share with the students.  My intent is to give them an idea of the kinds of creative content they can post on the blog they are going to build.

Serendipitously, the restaurant La Créole, one of the stops on the walking tour that I gave to support the fundraising project to bring MPTCS students to Paris, is the subject of one of these articles.

Today, I'm sharing it and some of my additional favorite pairings with you.  Click on the links beneath each photo and enjoy!
