Images and Sound for Parc Clichy-Batignolles Martin Luther King

As I contemplated what the subject of the subject of this week's blog post should be, my thoughts turned to the Parc Clichy-Batignolles Martin Luther King. When I last visited (in 2015), there was a lot of construction going on inside and next to the park ...

including a worksite for the extension of Line 14 of the Paris metro.

I launched a Google search to see how things have progressed there and was delighted to find an article on the Soundlandscapes blog, complete with an audio recording of the park:

I met Des Coulam, the founder of this unique site, years ago when he recorded me talking about  my favorite place in Paris - the Luxembourg Garden:

Paris - A Personal View

But I digress.

Des' article about Park Clichy-Batignolles Martin Luther King is so thorough and replete with photos that I encourage you to read it from beginning to end.  I'm not sure of the publication date, but it was definitely posted well after my last visit.  I suggest listening to the Soundlandscape recording, located about midway through the article, while you read.
