Down Memory Lane - Part 2

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of meeting a dynamic woman named Karmelle Biyot at the Africa Investments Forum and Awards conference.  When we connected on LinkedIn, we discovered that I had written articles about her husband, Chef Loïc Dablé, for the ETBP blog.

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of dining at La Créole with Professor Claire Oberon Garcia and students from Colorado College at the farewell dinner for their "Black Writers in Paris" course.  I remembered that I wrote about La Créole about a year ago, when the Malick Sidibé exhibition was being shown at the Cartier Foundation.

These happenings, on two consecutive days, inspired me to make this week's trip down memory lane about restaurants that I've covered in Art and Food Pairings™ over the years.  (Note that Café Dapper and Sunugal are now closed.  O Corcovado closed its restaurant in the Marais, but the Montparnasse location is still open.)
